Summer 2001. Stop Press -- Stop press! Lisa Rands, of Bishop, California, has become the first American woman to boulder V11. After a six day siege of the stellar problem, which demands extreme body tension to pull a series of bad crimps through a bulge before finishing on the neighboring High Plains Drifter, Rands finally managed to send in late March.
