... Meanwhile 25-year-old Lisa Rands has been pushing the women's envelope in America. Last issue we reported her ascent of Two-Pop (V10) in Boone, North Carolina. Since then she has climbed two more V10s, Acid Wash at the Happy Boulders and Beautiful Gecko at the Sad Boulders near Bishop, California. Read Lisa's comments here. "My face wasn't really that red. Honestly... we have the slide! As for the grimace, hey, that's reality. It can't always be a nice sunny photo with a relaxed climber looking serene!" -- Lisa Rands |
