Lisa's natural power has seen her to numerous wins at bouldering comps across America and on the international circuit. Her Bouldering World Cup win at Lecco, Italy, in June of 2002, followed by her victory at the Open des Ecrins, at L'Argentière La Bessé, France, in July the same year, placed her on top of the world. Lisa is the only American woman ever to win a bouldering World Cup, and the only American ever to be ranked number one in the world in competitive bouldering.

Lisa has also won numerous outdoor bouldering comps, such as the Hound Ears compeitition, near Boone, NC, the Horse Pens 40 "Mortal Kombat" (Alabama) the Little Rock City bouldering competition (near Chattanooga), and the famous Phoenix Bouldering Contest. At the 2003 Phoenix Bouldering Contest, then the world's largest bouldering competition (held outdoors on natural rock), Lisa's score was nearly three times that of her nearest rival.
